There are around 16 million people in the UK living in poverty. Many people living on a low income, or below the poverty line, are finding making ends meet even harder due to the effects of the pandemic and the rising cost of living.

We are a not-for-profit community interest company, helping benefit claimants, social tenants and low income earners to become better off, find work (or better work) and get online. We offer face-to-face support at our Quids In Centres in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire and East and London, as well as offering remote support in funded areas.

Clean Slate was recognised as one of the UK’s top 100 social enterprises in Natwest and Pioneers Post 2021 and 2022 SE100 Index.

In the year 2021 to 2022, we helped more than 2,500 people to improve their money management to each gain on average around £1,000, as well as working with 20 partners to deliver our services more widely.

Our quarterly Quids in! magazine reaches 162,000 households annually, our digital offer includes a monthly Quids in! Readers Club e-newsletter that reaches 30,000 people and we also publish specialist guides on things like Universal Credit, Food and Energy.
