Clean Slate is one of a number of projects supporting jobseekers with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to prepare for and access employment. With support from the St Johns Foundation and Bath & North East Somerset council, and the expertise of the Quids in! publishing team, we have produced Opening Doors, a guide for local employers on ways to access the often overlooked pool of talent among SEND jobseekers.
The magazine was produced in partnership with the B&NES Employer Engagement Network and a forum of support agencies, employers and funders brought together by Three Ways School and the St Johns Foundation.
This edition of Opening Doors is a pilot and, as a social enterprise ourselves, we are exploring opportunities to make future editions self-funding through sponsorship, advertising and publication in other areas of the country.
