How to check your Windows Update settings
Chances are, Windows Update is already running on your system and is regularly updating your software. You can check this by clicking the Windows button followed by Settings:
Click Update & Security
Here you'll be able to see your Windows Update status, and whether there are any actions you need to take. Using a decent broadband connection, updating shouldn't take long or interfere with your work.
